Stronger 6 Classes and 1 to 1

  • Simply go to the Classes or Coaching page on this website and select your desired option. There is an option to either buy a pack of sessions or simply purchase a single session. There are discounts available for purchasing multiple sessions. To purchase a single pass click on the ‘Single Pass’ button (for classes) or the Single strength and conditioning session. .

    This link will take you to the available appointments. Simply choose the date to confirm your appointment.

  • You have 8 weeks to use your sessions. So essentially one, two or three a week depending on which package or subscription (DM Directly for details) you chose. The packs of sessions run concurrently with an 8-week block of training. At the end of a 8-week block of training any remaining sessions will expire and can not be rescheduled, carried over or owed. If you anticipate that you can not attend every week due to holidays etc you are welcome to double or triple up on weeks you are around as long as all sessions are used before the end of the 8 week block. after which time any remaining sessions will expire. Alternatively up-scale or down-scale your subscription DD according to your availability for an upcoming block of training.

  • Personal Training Sessions are to be used within 2 months. This time frame commences on the 1st day of the month following the purchase date. Any sessions bought for a 2 month period must be used within that period, any sessions remaining will expire and will not be carried forward or owed onto the next 2 month period.

  • For our PT sessions we release our diary 2 months at a time. This is to ensure continuity for our existing client base such that they get the regular slots they want.

  • For our classes we run our booking concurrently with each block of 8 week training. So 2 weeks prior to the start date an automated email and text will be sent out to all current participants notifying them of the upcoming start to a new training block. At this time they have advance notice to go ahead and book themselves onto this new block. General release to everyone else will then occur 1 week prior to the start of a new block of training.

  • If you made your original booking via the website then simply go to your confirmation email and click the cancel or reschedule an appointment option.

    Click on the icon on the top right hand corner. Click appointments then you will see all of your upcoming appointments. Simply select the one you want to reschedule or cancel and go from there.

    You can cancel and reschedule your sessions as many times as you want within the allotted time frame as long as you give <24 hours notice and there are available slots to reschedule into. After the allotted time frame (2 month period for 1 to 1 and 8 weeks for classes) any remaining sessions will expire.

Cancellation and Terms and Conditions

  • Booking & Cancellation Policy

    All Strength & Conditioning classes are non-refundable and can only be used by the person who bought them.

    You can reschedule or cancel over 24 hours before your session.

    No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours mean the session is lost.

    For Packages and Subscriptions:

    Packages run alongside an 8-week training programme.

    Any unused sessions after 8 weeks will expire.

    Sessions cannot be carried over to future programmes.

    For PAYG;

    Any scheduled appointment can be rescheduled only once.

    Safety & Liability Risks: Exercise and fitness activities carry some risk of injury. By taking part, you accept these risks, including falls, equipment issues, or contact with other participants.

    Your Health: You confirm that you are fit to exercise and have no medical conditions or limitations that prevent safe participation. Tell staff if your health changes.

    Liability: You agree not to hold Derby Fitness Hub or its staff responsible for any injuries, accidents, or losses that happen during sessions.

    Indemnity: You also agree to cover any costs or damages that arise from your participation.

    Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

    Photos & Videos: Coaches may take photos or videos for social media. If you do not want to appear, please let your coach know before the session.

    Acknowledgment:

  • Cancellation & Session Policy

    • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

    • Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the session will result in the session being forfeited without refund.

    • Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled subject to availability.

    Session Validity

    • Sessions are valid for two (2) months from the first day of the month following purchase, or until the end of a defined two-month block (whichever occurs first).

    • Where more than five (5) sessions are purchased within a two-month block, one (1) unused session may be carried over to the following period.

    • Carried-over sessions may only be rescheduled once. If cancelled again, or cancelled within 24 hours, the session will be forfeited.

    • All other unused sessions will expire and are non-refundable.

    Waiver & Health Declaration

    I acknowledge that participation in physical exercise at Derby Fitness Hub involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury from physical exertion, equipment use, or interaction with others. I voluntarily accept full responsibility for these risks. I confirm that I am medically fit to participate in exercise and have no condition that would prevent safe participation.     Media Use

    Photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. If you do not consent, please notify your coach before your session.

  • If you cannot make all 8 weeks you have two options. Simply purchase a single pass for the sessions you can make OR buy a pack of sessions and then try and double up on the weeks you are available. However, this is obviously subject to availability on a first come first served basis so you may not be able to double up every time. Remember all your 8 sessions must be used within a 8 week period (starting from the first day of a new 8 week block of training) Although we will try and accommodate this approach it will not always be possible to fit you in for multiple sessions in the same calendar week.

  • There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for any appointments. That is, appointments can only be rescheduled or cancelled >24 hours before an appointment. Appointments cannot be carried forward or ‘owed’, beyond the time period set out in your Ts and Cs, all appointments must therefore be used by the expiry date. If you feel that you can not commit to completing a block of sessions then please consider PAYG. If you feel you are going to be ill please cancel your session >24 hours before then on the day of your original appointment if you feel ok then simply rebook back on again.

  • Unfortunately, there are no refunds for any single sessions or packs of sessions bought. Only purchase sessions if you feel that you are able to commit to them.

    If you have purchased a session incorrectly a refund will issued, however, there will be a small admin fee of £5 which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded. This fee is essentially the transaction charge incurred by Derby Fitness when you originally placed your order.

  • NO. You coach will automatically receive an email confirmation as you do when a session is booked, amended or cancelled. Please refrain from contacting your coach about bookings where possible..

Other Questions

  • Nope. All of the classes we offer are catered to a mixed ability. This means that certain movements may be scaled to either accommodate a beginner or more experienced participant.

  • Absolutely YES. Experience should not be a barrier. You are more than welcome to join any of our classes or personal training packages.

  • This is largely a myth. Lifting weights once or twice a week will in no way make you bulky. However, you will probably feel great, learn some new skills, increase your strength (without getting bulky) and have a load of fun in the process.

  • NO. We ask specifically with juniors that if they have expressed an interest in coaching AND they can listen to and follow simple instructions then they are more than welcome. There is no upper age limit.

  • NO. Please rest and seek advice from your GP before you commence any physical activity. If you do attempt to attend we may well turn you away if we consider that you are too ill to safely participate.

  • Please consult your coach prior to your session. It may be that your session can be altered to accommodate the injury that you may have. However, we always recommend that you seek guidance from a registered physio if you have any doubt.
